Kathy has over 25 years of experience in the oncology space. Much of that time has been spent in clinical trials; both at the practice level as a clinical research coordinator and later in regulatory affairs, data management and quality assurance. Transition to technology merged her passion for clinical trials with the challenge of how technology can be used to enhance patient care and manage clinician workflow more effectively. More recently, Kathy enjoyed working as a trainer before transitioning to quality assurance in the EHR space. The opportunity to provide product ideas and oversight to a clinical trial matching software company was the most recent addition to her resume. The outstanding work being accomplished at Spesana offers the opportunity to use her experience, skills, and passion to aid in development of one platform to serve patients and clinicians across all therapeutic areas.
Kathy studied at Southern Illinois University excelling in their Healthcare Managment Program and later becoming a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator.
